MEDEVIL TIMES....

Those of you that know us, know that for the last six years, we have a BIG theme party! It first started out as a simple gathering of friends, bringing food, drinking cocktails and hanging out by a camp fire. Somewhere along the line, it developed into themes. Our first theme party was "Tropical". We ordered coconut bikini tops and blow up Palm Trees. The first year was fun but not everyone got into it....the guests that is! The following year, we had a "SURVIVOR" theme party! We had 5 challenges and teams with the Survivor head bands. We even casted off team members at a re-created "voting section". The year after that was "Cowboy & Cowgirl"! That was a BLAST! People were dressed up, we had a covered wagon to store the keg on ice, a Saloon w/ saloon doors! It was incredible...the detail that came out of all the planning. Last year was Austin Powers! Man, did we have some winners....

It has come to the point that we have "board members" that meet three to four months before the party starts so that we can develop the theme, give the men the blueprints of our designs so that they can build things for us. As we have become more detailed in our themes, we have also gotten quite elaborate in our invitations! This year, they are being delivered in tubes with burned edges and a wax seal! I cannot wait to post pictures from this year's party! Medevil times....here we come!

CUTE CURLS and Nowhere to go!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever had your hair look FABULOUS and have nowhere to go??? Then, when you really do have some place to go, your hair is completely unmanageable??? I have to giggle about it! Gerry's working this weekend and I'm on my own! So, I start playing with my hair and realize, "My hair looks so cute and I have no place to go". I suppose I could go run errands but I have been all over the state of Maine this week and would rather gag than to drive one more mile! Ha, ha, ha!

Well, I have not been posting much lately and that is because I have been busy with my practice management coaching business!!!!! I just had the most FANTASTIC week coaching at a dental practice! I was also invited to become a trainer to work with Patterson Dental, training dental practices in the state of Maine to use EagleSoft (dental software)! Does life get any better???? I LOVE making a difference for people and that I'm being hired because I have made a difference!

I guess it's time that I get some things done! I wanted to update all of you and let you know that all is well with me and that I have just had the most incredible week! :-)

The things you do for love....

...Like swinging until your butt hurts! Can you see the "pain" in my smile in the photo below??? Little Miss "G" wanted to swing and let me do ALL the work (could we have a little mini-duchess in the making...). Well, this little see-saw swing was only made for a kids butt. The only support I had covered the bone of my ass!!!!!!! Needless to say, little Miss "G's" fun only lasted so long.

To my little niece....I love you from the bottom of heart and can't wait to spend the rest of my life watching you grow! I'll also "eat your cheeks" for as long as you will let me and twist your hair as long as you will tolerate it!

Love,

Your FAVORTIE Auntie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Men Bowling for cash against a "Mexican"

Forrest (American) Jim (Mexican) Peter (Arab)

A group of us went bowling this weekend and the men decided it would be better to bowl for cash. You can clearly see that Forrest and Peter are slightly concerned about their score and that Jim is VERY excited to not only be one of the first Mexicans to make it over the boarder but win some BIG cash! Ha, ha, ha! I think Peter (Arab) ended up winning most of the lottery and has plans to use some of that to buy me coffee TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY!!!!

Forrest trying some of his devilish tactics to swoon Kristin away from bowling strikes all night by diverting her attention and buying her alcohol....

Justine and I celebrating our "00"'s the first few strings!! We both ended with some decent scores in the second game! I even beat Gerry, Peter and Rob with a 136 in the second game! Wha-whooooooooo!!!! My game ended up turning around when Rob yelled, "Nice Ass". It seemed like everytime he shouted it out, I bowled a strike! THANKS ROB! Peter tried but left me with one pin standing! Sorry Peter, you didn't have what it took! :-)

We've got team "red" here with Justine and Tracy sporting matching T's!!! Watch out for Tracy....she may be CUTE but underneath all that is one HIGH BOWLER!!!! Nice job Tracy!

Larry The Cable Guy...

Last night we went to see Larry The Cable Guy! There were EIGHT of us that managed to get dinner in before we went! I have to admit that PJ Walsh (who opened up for Larry) was QUITE the comedian! My cheeks are sooooooooo sore today from laughing so hard last night! I got the most giggles out of the opening act. Larry was funny but PJ Walsh is also worth seeing if he should tour in Maine again! I had to laugh everytime Larry said, "Git-R-done". It reminded me of my friend Rick who always seems to be saying that....could he be a redneck in disguise???? He, he, he!

So the "people watching" was priceless!!!! All walks of life coming out for a night of laughs! I wish I had brought my binoculars!! :-) I actually saw some people that I knew hanging out in the "Penobscot Room" enjoying some beverages before the show got started. None for me! Getting up early this morning was a CHORE! I even had to blow off the gym!!! Write it down in history...I blew off the gym!!!!

All in all, is was a fun night spent laughing with all my friends!!!!!!
